One week to go from the challenge to the prototype.
The Innovation Days are an open innovation laboratory: for one week, an organisation's concrete challenges meet the agility of an ecosystem's talent. The format always ends by opening to the general public, because innovation that stays confidential does not change a culture.
Bringing together those who have the challenges and those who have the ideas.
Three pillars.
Transform
Turning strategic stakes or complex business problems into innovation opportunities and tangible prototypes, testable by the end of the week.
Connect
Creating direct synergy between the sector expertise of large organisations and the technical agility of the innovation ecosystem. It is the bridge between those who have the challenges and those who have the ideas.
Awaken
Activating the entrepreneurial culture of internal teams, opening up the use of breakthrough technologies, and publicly legitimising what it means to be an entrepreneur.
Six days,
one production sprint.
Audit & framing
Beforehand: interviews with the partner to turn their friction points into workable challenges, and to prepare the technical setup (mentors, data, access).
Hackathon
Official launch of the challenges, forming multidisciplinary teams, then four phases: understand, ideate, prototype, validate. Deliverable: a minimum viable product that works.
Business Day
Prototypes presented to decision-makers, juries and investors. Sector talks and strategic networking.
Innovation Forum
Opening to the general public: demonstrations, stands, prize-giving. The moment the ecosystem celebrates itself and becomes visible.
A universal framework,
always specific challenges.
The run of show does not change; what changes is the challenges set and the profiles brought in. A few examples of what gets tackled by sector.
Three ways to take part.
